This generously proportioned apartment was in a state of advanced decay and required extensive renovations to all walls, floors & ceilings in addition to the reconfiguration of the plan for the new owner’s more modern program. The large entry gallery was designed for art display and straddles the zone between public entertaining spaces, home office, library and private rooms. The existing kitchen was substantially enlarged with the addition of the two former maid’s rooms to create an eat-in kitchen with walk-in pantry, wine storage, laundry room, and a second home office.
